Replaces: MIL Spec M16878/11, /12, /13

Applications: For use in internal wiring of electronic equipment and appliances. NEMA HP-4, FEP lead wires have a low coefficient of friction, which promotes easy handling. The insulation also resists hot soldering irons, is self extinguishing, non-flammable, has excellent chemical resistance, and is suitable for immersion in gasoline, gasoline vapor and oil (at 80 deg C maximum). Weathering, ozone and most corrosive environments do not affect FEP insulation. 

Rating: Tin Plated Copper 150 deg C, Silver Plated Copper 200 deg C. NEMA HP-3 has no requirement for the wire to be printed.
Conductor: Stranded or solid tin or silver plated copper.
