Important Advantages and Features One way that Single Conductor Cable differs from Multi Conductor Cable is that transmission of data (especially video) is not affected by the length of these cables. In data applications, signals undergo modulation at the point of recording devices or receivers, and these signals are then transferred to a controller, which demodulates it. Typically, you’ll also find this cable type to be smaller in terms of diameter and to have a higher amount of breaking strength than multi-conductor cable. In addition, this category of wire and cable is generally easier to maintain, since the amount of time needed to replace end connectors, splice, or carry out fixes is much lower.
