Safety Gate™ retrofit products are completely automatic. There are no buttons to push or switches to reset. It weighs less than 5.6g (2 oz.) and two retrofits can be used in a standard outlet. Because of SafeStart Systems' miniaturization technology, consumer appliances and small power tools can now have the same safety restart protection previously only available for industrial machinery, as required by OSHA, NFPA and the CSA*.
